“Today, Bakhmut remains only in our hearts,” this is how President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky answered the question of whether the city remains under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Zelensky held a press conference with US President Joe Biden at the G7 summit in Hiroshima, Japan.
The Ukrainian leader stressed that “nothing was left of Bakhmut”, the city was completely destroyed.
