Andrei Polosin, the new vice-rector of the RANEPA, an associate of the head of the Kremlin's domestic political bloc, Sergei Kiriyenko, is developing a new ideological course for universities called "Fundamentals of Russian Statehood." Meduza writes about this in an article devoted to the biography and activities of Polosin.
According to the publication's sources, the course was conceived by the Russian authorities after the start of the war to explain to students "where Russia is going."
According to Meduza, the course will consist of five blocks. The key will be the third block, which is called "The Russian worldview and the values of Russian civilization." As part of this block, students will be told about the “pentabasis of Russian civilization” (this theory was developed, among other things, by Polosin and an official of the presidential administration Alexander Kharichev), which distinguishes it from the civilization of the West.
In general, the main goal of the course is “to change the minds of students with whom the Kremlin has always been bad at working,” writes Meduza.
