A court in Tula sentenced a citizen of Ukraine to 16 years for espionage

A court in Tula sentenced Ukrainian citizen Andrei Petkevich to 16 years in a strict regime colony on charges of espionage. According to the press service of the FSB, the convict allegedly tried to recruit employees of Russian defense enterprises to work for the Ukrainian special services.

The purpose of Petkevich was, as stated, information "on promising developments in the field of small arms."

The FSB released a video of the man's detention, as well as footage from the courtroom. It is not known exactly when Petkevich was detained, it is only reported that the verdict has already entered into force.
