The Navalny LIVE team published an investigation into the family of Nikolai Gusev, director of the Vympel design bureau, which designs and manufactures missiles used by the Russian army in Ukraine. As it turned out, Gusev's daughter lives in Miami and studies at the university there. Neither the head of the Design Bureau nor members of his family are included in the sanctions lists.
20-year-old Natalia Guseva has been living in the US since 2021, renting her apartment in Miami costs $3,500 per month, and a year of study costs about $60,000. The girl drives a BMW, plays golf professionally and participates in competitions around the world.
Gusev, who has been running Vympel for the past 11 years, his wife and stepdaughter, Navalny's associates found two Mercedes, a Jaguar and a Rolls-Royce.
Earlier in May, the Navalny LIVE team released an investigation into the family of Boris Obnosov, head of Tactical Missiles Corporation JSC, which also includes Vympel Design Bureau. As it turned out, Obnosov's son-in-law Rostislav Zorikov owns a four-story house and a penthouse in Prague.
