Roskomnadzor prepares to fight “psychic attacks of the enemy” on the Internet – TASS

Roskomnadzor announced preparations to "prevent sabotage and mental provocations on the network," TASS reports . According to the head of the on-duty monitoring department of the on-duty service in the field of mass communications of the Main Radio Frequency Center (GRC) subordinate to Roskomnadzor, Kirill Zolotov, such threats are "predicted by experts."

He spoke about this at a session of the Russian Internet Forum. In addition, he warned that "individual terror" by the "enemy" would be carried out against citizens of the Russian Federation. All this is necessary, according to him, "to reinforce new information campaigns." Zolotov also assured that scenarios for preventing "such incidents" are being worked out at the GRFC.

At the same time, he noted that all previous attempts to carry out such actions allegedly "failed." “The fight against fakes, as well as the conduct of the SVO [that is, the war in Ukraine] is an example of the unity of all citizens in protecting the sovereignty of the country, confirmation of the existence of civil society in the Russian Federation,” Zolotov said.

The law on the inadmissibility of “discrediting” the actions of the Russian Armed Forces, as well as the law on the dissemination of “knowingly false information” (also known as the “fake law”) regarding the Russian army, were adopted by the State Duma at the beginning of the war. According to them, a person can be held accountable for completely absurd reasons – for example, for leaving the house in yellow and blue clothes.
