Thousands of Russian schoolchildren will be sent to military-patriotic camps to undergo fire and tactical training

More than nine thousand Russian schoolchildren from 11 regions of Russia will go to the military-patriotic camps "Warrior", where they will undergo fire and tactical training, master the "elements of the national security of the Russian Federation", and also meet with participants in hostilities in Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the presidential envoy to the Far East Yuri Trutnev.

“From June 1 to June 10, military-patriotic shifts will start in 11 regions of Russia on the basis of summer health camps. Their organizer is the Voin Center for Military Sports Training and Patriotic Education of Youth,” the report says.

Camps will be organized in Buryatia, Kalmykia, Tatarstan, Chechnya, Khabarovsk Territory, Belgorod, Kemerovo, Pskov, Sverdlovsk, Tyumen regions and the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. Teenagers between the ages of 14 and 17 will be sent there.

“As part of the shifts, young people will learn the basics of the national security of the Russian Federation, fire, tactical, engineering training, tactical medicine, communications and UAV piloting, and consolidate the results at military sports games,” the embassy reports.

Earlier it became known that Trutnev and the first deputy head of the presidential administration, Sergei Kiriyenko, proposed "to revive the system of voluntary military sports training and patriotic education in Russia."

According to Taiga, the headquarters of the Center for Military Sports Training and Patriotic Education of Youth "Warrior" was to be headed by the recently dismissed ex-commander of the Pacific Fleet Sergey Avakyants. But the publication did not find any legal entities associated with Avakyants in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities.

On December 1, 2022, the ANO of additional professional education "Center for the Development of Military Sports Training and Patriotic Education of Youth" was registered in Moscow, headed by Nikolai Yazynin. The organization is located in a building on Radio Street, 7, where the International Federation of All-Style Karate, the Federation of All-Style Karate of Russia, the Kyokushin Association of Russia, the Moscow Institute for Professional Retraining and Advanced Training of Teachers and the Russian Union of Martial Arts are also registered. , which is headed by Trutnev and Kiriyenko, drew the attention of Taiga.

The Moscow Department of Education has already issued a license to the Center for the Development of Military Sports Training and Patriotic Education of Youth for additional education services.

Meanwhile, in Yakutia, in April 2023, the ANO "Center for Military Sports Training and Patriotic Education of Youth" Sakha Bootur "(Sakha Warrior)" was registered. The organization was headed by Andrey Artamonov, who is called by the local media "the first full-contact karate professional in the USSR", a two-time champion of Leningrad and is associated with the "Russian Union of Martial Arts". Artamonov also volunteered for the war in Ukraine.

Taiga writes that the Russian Union of Martial Arts, co-chaired by Kiriyenko and Trutnev, received a contract from the Department of Physical Education of Rostov-on-Don in 2011, and in 2017 – a sponsorship contract from Alrosa for 15 million rubles for mentioning the company on products made for karate competitions.
