Alexei Navalny said that he was shown 3,828 pages describing his "crimes" allegedly committed already in the colony. However, what exactly of these descriptions he is accused of, Navalny does not know, since he is not given an indictment.
“Yeah, you did it, Alexei, delov, you committed crimes,” I said to myself, looking at the huge volumes of the indictment.
It was the General Prosecutor's Office that officially provided me with 3828 pages of descriptions of the crimes that I committed while already in prison. Their trial will begin on May 31st. However, although it is clear from the size of the volumes that I am a sophisticated and stubborn criminal, it is impossible to find out what exactly I am accused of. They give an indictment to an ordinary person and say: sit and read.
This is argued by the fact that it is the indictment that is a “prohibited subject” in the ShIZO. At the same time, volumes of files were brought there for some reason.
“My indictment was taken away by the administration of the colony, because it is a prohibited item in the ShIZO. A mug (1 piece) and a book (1 piece) are on the list, but there is no indictment. And the fact that you are on trial, and you face up to 30 years, and you want to understand what you are accused of and how it is proved – this is all up to the lantern.
– Did they give you a book, convicted Navalny? So sit and read, and what you are accused of, you will find out when the verdict is passed.
On May 22, Navalny was sent to the ShIZO for the 16th time for 15 days, and again immediately after he had only been released the night before. Earlier, he also told how the administration of the colony shows him the food he bought and then throws it away as expired. “I take my hat off to whoever came up with this. You didn’t just spend all the money and get nothing, but also looked at the food you didn’t get,” says Navalny.
