The Russian Foreign Ministry called the conditions for Russia to end the war in Ukraine: stop hostilities and recognize “new territorial realities”

Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Mikhail Galuzin, in an interview with TASS , listed the requirements of the Russian Federation for Ukraine to achieve peace. According to him, first of all, Ukraine should stop hostilities, and Western countries should stop supplying weapons.

The Russian Federation also demands that Ukraine refuse to join the EU and NATO.

According to Galuzin, in order to achieve a “comprehensive, just and lasting peace,” Ukraine must return to a neutral non-bloc status, and also recognize “new territorial realities that have emerged as a result of the realization of the right of peoples to self-determination.”

He added that another important element in achieving peace is the protection of the rights of Russian-speaking citizens and national minorities.
