The 32-year-old daughter of Russian propagandist Vladimir Solovyov from his second marriage, a native of the United States, Yekaterina Solovyova, lives in Moscow and openly criticizes the war in Ukraine on social networks, and also puts on feminist performances, Nestka found out . Previously, this daughter of Solovyov was not publicly reported, earlier in May, associates of Alexei Navalny released an investigation into another secret family of Solovyov – with two children from basketball player Svetlana Abrosimova.

Journalists claim that Ekaterina, who criticizes restrictive laws on her open pages on social networks and calls on society for tolerance, is the daughter of one of the main propagandists in the country. In the posts, the woman called for donations to the Violence.net and OVD-Info funds and criticized the arrests of protesters.

In one of the Tik-Tok videos in English in March 2022, she noted that Russia is not Putin. She also told on the video that in the Russian Federation it was forbidden to “call war a war” and military censorship was introduced.

“I want you to know that Russia is not Putin. And don't let the hate win, because that's what they're after."

On Twitter, she claimed that all her activities “always were, are and will be anti-war,” while the post was published on September 21, the day the “partial” mobilization was announced in the country.

Also, the woman, whom journalists call Solovyov's daughter, plays in the musical group The BlueStocking, dances on Moscow burlesque scenes and directs feminist performances. In April and May, she staged the play 28 Days, based on the playwright Olga Shilyaeva of the same name, about the stigmatization of menstruation and domestic violence. Two performances of this performance are scheduled for July, in social networks the Russian woman has already expressed doubts that the performances can take place, since feminism in Russia can be equated with extremism.

In 2018, Ekaterina staged a play about domestic violence in Moscow in support of the Violence. no” (in 2020 recognized by the Ministry of Justice as a “foreign agent”). According to the publication, Vladimir Solovyov was at the premiere of the play and invited his daughter to talk about this theatrical work on the air of Vesti.FM. The founder of the fund, Anna Rivina, told Layout that thanks to the performance, the fund received 81,000 rubles.

Also, journalists drew attention to the fact that in 2012 Solovyova made a repost of the publication in support of the person involved in the Bolotnaya case Fyodor Bakhov. In 2019, she expressed solidarity with actor Pavel Ustinov, who was arrested at a rally, noting that tomorrow “it could be one of us.”

According to the publication, Solovyova herself does not hide her family relationship with Vladimir Solovyov. She devoted several publications to him on Instagram and published joint photos with him. Under one of the posts, she wrote: “Thank you for being my dad.”

The director herself refused to comment on her relationship with her father and creative activity, telling the Nestka correspondent that she was worried about the safety of the participants in her projects.

“The initial value for me in this case is the safety of my colleagues, who are already constantly faced with injustice and narrow-mindedness. I have nothing to hide, but talking about my father now means endangering not only myself and my loved ones, but also my friends and colleagues.

When asked if Solovyov would allow his daughter to be arrested, Ekaterina Solovyova did not answer. Vladimir Solovyov also read a message from the editors of Nyurstka asking if they had any conflicts because of his daughter's anti-war position, but did not answer him.
