In the Belgorod region, the evacuation of children from the Shebekinsky and Graivoronsky urban districts began. As Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on his Telegram channel, on May 31 it is planned to send the first group of 300 people to Voronezh.
The head of the region also said that at night Shebekino "was dealt a massive blow" from "Gradov". Four people were injured, at least one is in serious condition. Eight multi-apartment and four private houses, a school and two administrative buildings, as well as 12 cars were damaged.
The shelling of Shebekino has been going on for several days in a row. On May 22, a sabotage group from Ukraine entered the Graivoronsky district. The Russian Volunteer Corps claimed responsibility for the attack.
