Ukrainian refugee detained in Poland accused of selling adopted children to pedophiles

A 52-year-old Ukrainian refugee was detained in Poznan, who is accused of selling children to pedophiles, writes the Polish Gazeta Wyborcza.

Svetlana P. came to Poland from Sinelnikovo, Dnepropetrovsk region. She crossed the border on March 12, 2022 with ten foster children aged 4 to 16. Polish volunteers, after talking with the children, became suspicious and arranged a film screening for them to talk without a foster mother. During the conversation, the children said that their adoptive mother beat them and mocked them in every possible way.

According to them, she knocked out the teeth of some children, forced others to eat excrement, put diapers in their mouths, beat the boys on the genitals.

The woman was arrested. She faces ten charges, one for each child. According to investigators, in Ukraine and Poland, she sold children to pedophiles for rape, and at the same time she herself stood nearby and noted by the clock whether the 20 minutes paid by the client had passed.

The woman herself denies her guilt and claims that the children are lying. The prosecutor's office concluded that she was sane.
