The Hungarian government called for a ceasefire in Ukraine and showed a map of Ukraine without Crimea

The Hungarian government has published a video calling for an end to hostilities in Ukraine. The video shows a map of Ukraine without Crimea. Previously, the Hungarian government did not recognize the annexation of Crimea as legal.

“Tens of thousands of children have been orphaned, hundreds of thousands of homes have been destroyed, more than ten million people have been forced to leave their homes, but the war continues and could easily become global. No more war, only a ceasefire can end the devastation, only peaceful negotiations can save lives. It's time for peace," says the voiceover in the video.

A map of Ukraine without Crimea appears against the backdrop of a story that the war in Ukraine could turn into. Officially, Hungary did not recognize the annexation of Crimea as legal.
