Employees of the Tretyakov Gallery will watch the "Trinity" in the temple.

In addition, the Ministry of Culture reported that the transportation was successful, the icon was transported in special vehicles with air suspension and climate control. Also, the statement again clarifies that the icon will be in the Cathedral for a festive service on June 4 and another two weeks, until June 18, and after that the Trinity is planned to be sent for restoration. However, Patriarch Kirill (Vladimir Gundyaev) previously reported that the icon would be in the church for a year.

You can approach the "Holy Trinity" daily from 10:00 to 19:00.

The icon was handed over to the Russian Orthodox Church by decision of Russian President Vladimir Putin. According to him, he did this "in response to the numerous requests of Orthodox believers." On May 23, an expert meeting was held at the Tretyakov Gallery, during which experts came to the conclusion that it was impossible to transfer the "Holy Trinity" to the ROC due to the complex and unstable state, as well as the unpredictability of the ongoing process of negative changes. Patriarch Kirill (Vladimir Gundyaev) dismissed the head of the expert council of the Moscow Patriarchate on church art, architecture and restoration, Archpriest Leonid Kalinin, who agreed with the gallery's experts, "for obstructing" the transfer of the Trinity. After that, Kalinin was hospitalized with a heart attack.

On May 24, members of the commission on the culture of ancient and medieval Russia of the Scientific Council of the Russian Academy of Sciences "History of World Culture" in a letter to the Minister of Culture Olga Lyubimova asked her not to allow the transfer of the icon, since the ancient monument would not withstand this transfer and would be destroyed. However, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the Trinity would still be moved to the Cathedral of Christ the Savior by June 4.
