Belgorod and the Belgorod region again came under fire on the night of June 4, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on his Telegram channel. In the same message, Gladkov decided to congratulate everyone on the Day of the Holy Trinity and wished "God's blessing to every family."
According to him, Shebekinsky and Volokonovsky districts and districts were shelled, there is a lot of damage. What exactly, Gladkov did not specify.
“Two people died yesterday. I have already reported this. In Bezlyudovka and Novaya Tavolzhanka. Please, all those settlements, first of all, the Shebekinsky district, which are being shelled, listen to the position of the authorities and leave, temporarily leave, their homes in order to save the most important thing – their lives and the lives of loved ones.
The governor also claims that children from the border areas, as well as children of mobilized military personnel, are sent to the Belogorye Brigantine camp. “I hope that they will get a big charge of vivacity, health, strength, swimming in the warm sea, enjoying the Crimean sun. And then they will return to their families, ”Gladkov wrote.
Cases of looting have also been recorded in Shebekino, which is under shelling. One of the thrift stores with mobile phones was robbed. The Telegram channel "Caution, news" published a video with a broken window.
The authorities in the border Belgorod region have regularly reported shelling since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, the massive shelling of the region began on June 1, 2023. On June 3, it was reported that five people were killed in the shelling. On June 3, two women died – in the villages of Novaya Tavolzhanka and Bezlyudovka, Gladkov reported. Also, a resident of the village of Sobolevka, who suffered during a night strike from Gradov, died. On June 2, two women died in Maslova Pristan and two men in Sobolevka.
