Ex-deputy fined for comparing singer Shaman to a Nazi who released a video on Hitler’s birthday

The Blagoveshchensk City Court fined ex-LDPR deputy Sergei Trush 1,500 rubles for publishing a video comparing pro-Putin singer Shaman and a Nazi boy with a swastika from the movie Cabaret. Trush spoke about this in the Blagoveshchensk No. 1 Telegram channel.

The former deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Amur Region was found guilty under the article on the demonstration of Nazi symbols (part 1 of article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).

In the post, Trush specifically noted the fact that Shaman released his next video on April 20, the birthday of Adolf Hitler. “This is some kind of theater of the absurd. I was shocked by the representative of Themis and by the verdict that I received, ”he commented on the court decision. Earlier, Trush had already been fined 30,000 rubles under the article on “discrediting the Russian army.”

Earlier, the head of the Kamchatka "Yabloko" Vladimir Efimov was detained for comparing the singer Shaman with a fascist. The police drew up a protocol against him on the public demonstration of Nazi paraphernalia (Article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).
