In the Tyumen region, the children of those mobilized who died in the war in Ukraine were given tickets to the circus. It is reported by 72.ru with reference to the Department of Social Development of the Tyumen Region.
“Tickets were handed out by the military registration and enlistment office. They themselves formed the lists, ”said representatives of the department.
In April, in Karachay-Cherkessia, the wife of a conscript from the village of Pregradnaya complained about the local authorities, who promised to bring her firewood, but instead gave her two tickets to the circus.
The woman recorded a video message in which she said that there was no bath or shower in the house, so the bath had to be heated. However, after her husband was mobilized, there was no one to help with firewood. Irina Nikiforyak's video message was published on the Telegram channel of the "People's Front" of Karachay-Cherkessia.
Nikiforyak appealed to the local authorities, but instead of firewood, the chairman of the village council, Sergei Kornev, gave her tickets to the circus. At the same time, the head of Karachay-Cherkessia, Rashid Temrezov, has repeatedly noted that assistance to the families of the mobilized is "a priority for the actions of the regional authorities."
