The Prosecutor General’s Office recognized the “Covenant of Churches TCCN” as an undesirable organization

The Prosecutor General's Office of Russia has recognized the Covenant of Churches TCCN organization, created by US citizen Andrei Shapovalov, as undesirable.

According to prosecutors, the TCCN Covenant of Churches is a "destructive association whose activities are aimed at suppressing the identity of followers in order to raise funds." In Russia, the "Covenant of Churches TCCN" has its own representative offices.

In March, the Omsk court sentenced the pastor of the New Creation Church, Stanislav Moskvitin. He was found guilty of causing mental harm to citizens and sentenced to a year and six months in prison in a penal colony.

A criminal case against the pastor was opened in the summer of 2021. According to the prosecution, Moskvitin "used specific methods and techniques to influence the psyche of his parishioners" and forced them to make donations.

According to the media, Moskvitin became the pastor of the church in 2016, before that he worked as a laborer and was an ordinary parishioner, but then he was noticed and invited to study by Andrey Shapovalov, the founder of the organization, which was today recognized as undesirable.
