Fake of the Vremya program: a boot found at the bottom of the sea proves the involvement of the United States in undermining the Nord Stream

Have you ever seen, after the Revolution, the dignity of the Kremlin propagandists trying to prove that Ukraine was not involved in some action not approved by Moscow? On June 8, this amazing event took place in the Vremya program.

Presenter Ekaterina Andreeva prefaced the plot of Ivan Blagoy, correspondent of Channel One in Germany, who is well known to readers of the “Antifake” column:

“Look for someone who benefits, and you will find someone who did. The Americans, in order to maintain their dollar dominance in the world and force Europe to buy not Russian gas at a normal price, but their own liquefied gas – at a crazy price, according to many analysts, are ready for anything. Who blew up the Nord Stream gas pipelines? Why is important evidence still at the bottom of the Baltic Sea and why are Russian specialists not allowed to participate in the investigation?

There are more questions in this case than answers, and the most interesting thing is that when it smelled of fried food and even American journalists began to openly write that the American intelligence services and President Biden personally were involved in this terrorist attack (if, of course, he remembers with his possible dementia something in general), and so it was at this moment that disinformation was injected into the world space, which too clearly diverted attention from the Americans and transferred it to the Ukrainians.

What kind of laces turned out to be connected to all versions about the performers and customers of this sabotage – Ivan Blagoy understood. The sea, as it turned out, does not know how to keep its secrets.

And this is what Good said:

“May 24, the area of the terrorist attack on the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline, the exclusive economic zone of Sweden. The expedition here was organized by the American investigative journalism portal Grayzone. At a depth of 77 m, an underwater drone bumps into a diving boot.

“We know that Nord Stream, the company that owns the destroyed pipelines, reported the boot to Swedish investigators. We also learned from a source that the Swedish divers have never been there, that is, this is not their boot, ”says Grayzone founder Max Blumenthal.

According to Grayzone, the find was made earlier, Nord Stream AG reported this to Swedish investigators back in February. That is, after three months, the possible evidence continues to lie at the bottom. The journalists of the publication found a picture: very similar bots are used by American military divers.

But not only them, and Max Blumenthal is careful in accusations: “Ukrainian divers have also been seen in similar boats called Viking.” Here is the picture. At first glance, he deflects suspicion from the US military, but it is not.

Its author is a US Navy press officer. We found a video: 2015, Odessa, American divers conduct a master class. It was they who equipped the Ukrainian. The Americans, obviously, also wound the white ribbon around the tops, because they are used to doing it. There are pictures on the network that can be understood: with white ribbons, US Navy divers cover the knot area on the laces; apparently, this is an insurance against the loss of shoes during the dive. A light band is also visible on the find in the area of explosions. Ribbon?

In 2015, an interesting discussion arose on the Scuba Board diving forum about duct tapes used underwater. Quote: “I work with US Navy divers. White polykene is used everywhere – both on land and in water.” This is a very specific material, which is prescribed by the technical manual for divers of the US Navy, the electronic version of which is available on the Internet. In public procurement documents published under the American Freedom of Information Act, we see: the US Navy is purchasing a 48 mm wide white polyken tape, the manufacturer is also indicated.

Is it really not interesting for Swedish investigators to raise the found object from the bottom and study it? The video with the boot was posted on June 5th. Already on June 6, the topic was interrupted by a sensational article in the Washington Post about Kyiv's plans to undermine the Nord Streams – allegedly there was a group of 6 specialists who reported directly to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Zaluzhny.

The Grayzone is an ultra-left publication with a rather dubious reputation. It claimed that Bashar al-Assad's government did not carry out chemical attacks against the Syrian opposition and accused the OPCW of creating a "smoke screen". Also, the publication denied the genocide of the Uyghurs in China and claimed that the airstrike on the theater building in Mariupol was a Ukrainian "false flag operation." But even it did not directly accuse the United States of sabotaging gas pipelines in the Baltic Sea. The June 5 post says :

“The boots found by our expedition are strikingly similar to those worn by US Navy divers. U.S.-trained Ukrainian Navy divers have also been seen using the same or nearly identical model. However, it should be noted that boots with a similar appearance are commercially available.

In models of diving shoes, The Grayzone is frankly confused. The Viking model exists and is made by the Australian company Ansell .

The design of the model is indeed similar to what is captured in the video, but in the publication of The Grayzone on June 5, another shoe is named: Thor from the British company Northern Diver . This company does make a model called Thor , but it's not a shoe, it's a wetsuit. Most of all, the boot from the video is similar to the Safety Over Boots model of the same company Northern Diver . However, such shoes are worn with a Thor wetsuit.

The photograph of an American military diver from The Grayzone publication does not have white tapes on the tops. But they are in the photo of the Ukrainian diver from the plot of Blagoy.

Blagogoy’s reasoning about the specific material polykene, from which the tape is purchased by the US Navy, is generally not clear what it has to do with The Grayzone find: the boot lies on the bottom of the sea, it is generally impossible to establish the material from which the tape is made, and its exact width is generally impossible until the shoes are raised on surface.

But what seems suspicious to him is this: the publication in The Washington Post appeared the day after The Grayzone wrote about the shoe. Which could be used by both American and Ukrainian divers, and generally anyone, because the model was on sale at a price of £289. Well, how can one not be frightened and not immediately turn the arrows on the Ukrainians, who, according to Blagoy, here, surprisingly, have nothing to do with it.
