The Swedish company manufacturer of hygiene products Essity has sold its business in Russia. This is reported on her website.
The company said Russian authorities have approved the deal and it will close in the second quarter of 2023. The buyer of the company's assets is not named.
Essity announced its intention to leave the Russian Federation in April 2022, but announced the final sale only now.
The company noted that sales in Russia in 2022 were about 2% of global sales, so leaving Russia will not affect their business.
