Novak Djokovic wins his 23rd Grand Slam. This is a record for men’s tennis

Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic became the winner of the Roland Garros tournament, defeating Norwegian Kasper Ruud in the final. Thus, Djokovic won his 23rd Grand Slam in singles, setting a record for men's tennis. The previous record was held by Rafael Nadal, who won 22 such competitions.

Djokovic beat Ruud in three sets 7:6(1), 6:3, 7:5.

The Serbian tennis player won the Rolland Garros three times, the US Open three times, Wimbledon seven times and the Australian Open ten times.

The record holder for the number of Grand Slams won in women's tennis is American Serena Williams. She won 23 times in singles.
