Three people died when Russian military fired on a boat with evacuees – the head of the Kherson regional police department

Three people died during the shelling of a boat on which residents affected by the flood were evacuated from the left bank of the Dnieper. This was announced in his Telegram channel by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration (OVA) Alexander Prokudin. According to him, 10 people were injured, including two law enforcement officers.

“A 74-year-old man, when the enemy opened fire, covered his wife with his own body. The Russians shot him in the back,” wrote Prokudin.

Earlier, the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, said that the Russian military fired on a boat with people, injuring six people.

According to the Ukrainian authorities, on June 8 and 9, as a result of firing by the Russian military on people who were trying to evacuate, at least one person was killed and five were injured.
