The ex-deputy from Yabloko is being searched in the case of Ilya Ponomarev

In Moscow, the ex-deputy from the Yabloko party, Nikita Ilyin, is being searched, writes OVD-Info, citing his wife. According to her, this is connected with the criminal case against Ilya Ponomarev, who is being prosecuted for "fake news" about the Russian army and under the article for justifying terrorism.

Updated : Also, searches in the case of Ilya Ponomarev are taking place, according to RT, at the ex-deputies of the State Duma Margarita Svergunova and Oleg Ganzharov (Moscow) and politicians Boris Konovalov (Voronezh) and Solomon Ginzburg (Kaliningrad).

Mundep Nikita Ilyin is being taken for interrogation, OVD-Info reports.

Searches in the case against Ilya Ponomarev began in September 2022 in various cities of Russia, then they took place in December 2022 and May 2023. The people who hosted them are suspected of having links with Ponomarev and involvement in the "Congress of People's Deputies" – a congress of Russian oppositionists in Poland, one of the organizers of which was Ponomarev. Earlier, the Ministry of Justice of Russia included the organization in the list of undesirable.

In August 2022, Ponomarev was arrested in absentia, and in October he was put on the wanted list (for the first time, Ponomarev was put on the wanted list back in 2015, when he opposed the annexation of Crimea).
