In early June, 17-year-old Dmitry S. was detained in the Belgorod region, in the village of Krutoy Log. "Freedom of Russia".
According to investigators, Dmitry arrived in Krutoy Log on June 3. There he was going to cross the border outside the checkpoints and join the Ukrainian army, but was detained on the same day.
Now a criminal case has been initiated against him under the article “treason”.
In March, Russia's Supreme Court recognized the Freedom of Russia Legion as a terrorist organization. In April, a court in Belgorod sentenced Sergei Glushenkov to four and a half years in a strict regime colony, accused of "preparing to commit high treason."
