In 2023, the authorities of the region allocated 6.4 million rubles for payments to Belgorod residents who lost their homes due to the war. Residents of the Shebekinsky district will get 1 million rubles.

On June 10, Belgorod residents evacuated from the region bordering Ukraine in the comments on the page of the governor Vyacheslav Gladkov criticized the regional authorities for the lack of payments. The people who lived in Shebekino without registration could not achieve payments either.
After that, Vyacheslav Gladkov promised to draw up a separate register of such people and “find an opportunity” to pay them money from other sources. To receive compensation, residents of Shebekin and Novaya Tavolzhanka who do not have registration will be required to write an application. Their documents will be checked against the bases of polyclinics, schools, kindergartens and Rosreestr.
Those evacuated from Shebekino and Novaya Tavolzhanka are entitled to 10,000 rubles each. In case of loss of property – 50 thousand per family member.
