A 17-year-old teenager was arrested in Ufa on charges of participating in a terrorist organization. According to Idel.Realii, the accused, according to investigators, corresponded on the Internet with members of the Artpodgotovka movement.

“The minor was particularly interested in the fake actions and terrorist acts planned by Artpodgotovka on the territory of the Russian Federation, aimed at destabilizing the activities of state bodies and the subsequent forcible seizure of power,” the FSB press release says, citing the publication.

The socio-political association "Artpodgotovka", founded by Vyacheslav Maltsev, is recognized in Russia as an "extremist" and "terrorist" organization. Maltsev, on his YouTube channel, called for a revolution, which supposedly was supposed to happen on November 5, 2017. Dozens of people were detained in various regions of Russia on charges of involvement in the activities of Artpodgotovka.

Maltsev himself, who fled to France, was arrested in absentia.
