The Russian Investigative Committee has created a military investigation department in Belarus

The Investigative Committee of Russia has created a military investigative department on the territory of Belarus. According to the press service of the department, the department was created due to the fact that units of the Russian army are located in Belarus.

It is also reported that the chairman of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin held a meeting in occupied Luhansk. According to the information presented there, to date, Russian investigators have submitted to the courts 90 criminal cases against Ukrainian servicemen who are accused of war crimes.

In March, Vladimir Putin announced that Russia would deploy tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus. At the end of May, Alexander Lukashenko said that the transportation of nuclear weapons had already begun.

Earlier, in February, the Dossier Center wrote about the document “Strategic goals of the Russian Federation in the Belarusian direction”. The document, which fell into the hands of journalists, describes the Kremlin's strategy for integrating Belarus into Russia by 2030. By that time, Moscow intends to complete the reform of the Constitution of Belarus, taking into account Russian interests, and introduce a simplified procedure for issuing Russian citizenship to Belarusians.
