At a meeting with the leaders of African states, Putin spoke about the “rejected” peace agreement by Ukraine and the “legal export” of Ukrainian children

During a meeting with the leaders of seven African countries on the issue of ending the war in Ukraine, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia is "ready to consider any African proposals for a settlement," TASS reports .

According to Putin, the Russian Federation allegedly never abandoned negotiations on Ukraine and showed a document that, according to him, was being prepared in March 2022 in Istanbul. In it, according to the President of Russia, provisions were fixed on the neutrality of the country and guarantees of its security.

On the sheet that Putin showed to the cameras, you can see the restrictions that, according to this document, would be imposed on the size of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He also said that "after the withdrawal of Russian troops [from the northern regions of Ukraine]" Kyiv "threw it into the dustbin of history", despite the fact that it had waxed the agreement before that.

In addition, Putin is sure that the Russian authorities absolutely legally exported Ukrainian children in order to “save their lives and health” and supposedly “were never against” the reunification of their families. The President of the Russian Federation also said that the grain deal "has no chance."

On April 4, 31 children from Russian-occupied Crimea were returned to Ukraine. It was assumed that 33 children would return to their homeland, but the woman who was supposed to pick up two of them died after a “14-hour interrogation by the FSB.”

Children told that they were forced to do exercises to the Russian national anthem and sing the song “Forward, Russia”. Before they were allowed to go home, they had a conversation, in which they were told not to tell anything bad about their stay in Crimea.
