The French TV channel TF-1 showed a report from the positions of the Russian military in Ukraine. It does not say who is the aggressor in the war

The French TV channel TF-1 showed a report filmed on the territory of Ukraine occupied by the Russian military. It does not say that Russia is the aggressor in the war.

The report shows the positions of the Russian military. They comment on the situation with ammunition and drones, and also tell how these weapons are used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In the first frames, the French correspondent says that “you have to move quickly, because the road is constantly being shelled,” and also that the film crew will have to turn off the cameras so as not to give out the position of the Russians.

Separately, it is mentioned that the system of trenches and dugouts of the Russian army greatly complicates the advancement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Demonstrates the use of Russian weapons systems on the positions of the Ukrainian military, which are "a kilometer away" from the filming site.

Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleg Nikolenko said that the TF-1 report "has hit a new bottom in journalism". He accused the French TV channel of "glorifying the power of the so-called Russian army" and visiting the occupied territories, which is a violation of Ukrainian law.

This is not the first controversial report by French journalists from the front line. In April, the France 24 channel showed a story about the preparation of Russian troops for a counteroffensive by the Armed Forces of Ukraine at a base located 30 km from the line of contact. Then the Ambassador of Ukraine to France, Vadim Omelchenko, called him "a bad example of so-called neutral journalism", after which the TV channel removed him.
