Navalny announced campaign against the war

Alexei Navalny, whose next trial began today in IK-6 in the Vladimir region, announced the start of a campaign to turn people in Russia against the war. A post about this was published on the social networks of the oppositionist.

Navalny called it "an election campaign against the war and against Putin." As the post says, supporters of the oppositionist and volunteers, relying on sociological data and methods of election campaigns, will conduct telephone surveys, communicate in instant messengers and social networks with Russians in order to convince those who support the war. Navalny also announced the recruitment of volunteers to launch this campaign.

“Why is today a good day for this announcement? But because the court itself proves the correctness and necessity of such a project. What is important in this court? Not lawlessness, not telephone law, not the obedience of unscrupulous judges and prosecutors. The main thing is its form: it is a court inside a prison. Putin does not hesitate to imprison the innocent and is not afraid that the rebellious crowds may beat me off during a meeting in Moscow. But he is afraid of what I will say. Even if these are obvious, well-known words. He is afraid of the word. Of course, not only mine, therefore Kara-Murza and many others were tried in a closed court, ”Navalny wrote.

Earlier, on June 19, the trial of the oppositionist was closed to the public and journalists. As the correspondent of The Insider reported, the audience is likely to be allowed only for the announcement of the verdict. The journalists were taken out of the territory of the colony. She was also abandoned by Navalny's parents, who were also not allowed to attend the meeting.

Navalny is being tried along with the former technical director of Navalny LIVE, Daniel Kholodny, who was taken to IK-6 from a pre-trial detention center where he has been held for more than a year. The defendants are charged with seven counts, including the creation of an extremist community, the financing of extremist activities, the creation of a non-profit organization that infringes on the rights of citizens.
