The court began to consider the “extremist” case of Navalny. The meeting is held in the colony

The Moscow City Court at an off-site meeting in IK-6 in the Vladimir Region began considering a new criminal case against Alexei Navalny – "extremist". As the Navalny Team clarifies , the politician faces up to 30 years in prison on seven episodes of the criminal case:

A few days before the start of the trial, the press service of the court decided not to let journalists into the hall in the colony, a broadcast will be organized for them in a separate building.

Together with Navalny, Daniel Kholodny, the former technical director of Navalny LIVE, is being judged in this case. He faces up to 15 years in prison, he has been in jail for more than a year. He will also be taken to IK-6 for consideration of the "extremist" case.

Immediately after the start of the meeting, Navalny asked to be allowed into the hall of his parents. As journalists report, in the broadcast room (where Navalny's parents are) it is very hard to hear what is happening inside, it is almost impossible to make out the words. The defense also insists on the removal of the judge due to the fact that the trial is taking place in a colony, although both Navalny and Kholodny are Muscovites, and it is assumed that they committed their “crimes” in Moscow.
