In March of this year, the Ministry of Justice included Pavel Chikov, the head of Agora, in the list of "foreign agents".

Agora is an association of dozens of lawyers and human rights lawyers from many regions of Russia working on high-profile cases of human rights violations.

Until the fall of 2015, lawyers and lawyers cooperated with the Interregional Association of Human Rights Public Associations “AGORA”, which was liquidated on the initiative of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation and a court decision on February 10, 2016.
