The prosecution insisted on a term of 7 years in prison.

The verdict was announced behind closed doors: Judge Igor Nikitchenko forbade listeners and the press to be present in the courtroom.

Earlier, Kudryashov told human rights activists that after his arrest, before the first interrogation and repeatedly between subsequent interrogations, he was tortured with electric shocks in order to get the password to his phone and force him to sign a confession.

The human rights organization "Solidarity Zone" The Insider reported that "Kudryashov was pressured to confess, but he refuses to give them even under torture, so they keep him in solitary confinement and try to break him like that."

At the same time, during interrogations, Kudryashov openly expressed his anti-war position. The Solidarity Zone quoted from the interrogation protocol:

“I participate in anti-war protests because I do not agree that the Ukrainian issue can be resolved only by military means. I am categorically against the war unleashed by the Russian Federation, I think that this mobilization should be sabotaged.”

Kudryashov claims that FSB agents planted Molotov cocktails on him during his arrest. In the search report, he indicated that he had nothing to do with the found incendiary mixtures, wrote by hand: "This is not mine."

The activist has been under arrest since September 30.
