The prosecution asks for 11 years in prison for the former head of the Barnaul headquarters of Navalny Vadim Ostanin

The state prosecution requested 11 years in prison for the former head of Navalny's Barnaul headquarters, Vadim Ostanin, said Boris Zolotarevsky, a former Navalny team activist.

Ostanin was detained in December 2021. A criminal case was initiated against him for participation in an extremist community and a non-profit organization infringing on a person.

According to the Investigative Committee, the activist continued to work in Navalny's structures after they were recognized as "extremist."

In March of this year, Ostanin, already in the pre-trial detention center, said that his health had deteriorated due to the conditions of detention. He also reported that he was "promised a bad attitude" if he "does not tell everything."
