Lawyers of an activist who died in a special detention center are being searched

In Rostov-on-Don, the lawyers who represented the interests of activist Anatoly Berezikov, who died in a special detention center, are being searched. This is reported by the "First Department" .

Searches are being carried out at the home of lawyer Irina Gak and public defender Tatyana Sporysheva, however, it is not reported what the investigative measures are connected with.

A day earlier, it became known that after the death of Berezikov, the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case on incitement to suicide.

The activist's lawyer, Irina Gak, was the first to report the activist's death. According to her, on the eve of Berezikov was tortured with a stun gun. He also complained about threats and that they promised to kill him.

Berezikov was under arrest under the articles of the administrative code of the Russian Federation on petty hooliganism and disobedience to a police officer.

Anatoly Berezikov posted leaflets in Rostov-on-Don of the Ukrainian project “I want to live”, calling on the Russian military to surrender.
