General Lapin, the son of the ex-head of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Artem Uss and Z-military correspondents fell under EU sanctions

The European Union approved the 11th package of sanctions against Russia. As reported on the website of the European Council, it includes, in particular, a complete ban on oil supplies via the northern branch of the Druzhba oil pipeline to Germany and Poland.

A mechanism has also been added to "fight against the circumvention of sanctions", which allows the introduction of restrictions against third countries.

In addition, the sanctions affected 87 organizations supporting the Russian military-industrial complex and the war in Ukraine. Among them are four Iranian companies that supply drones to Russia. These organizations will be subject to tighter export restrictions on dual-use goods and technologies.

Of the individuals, General Alexander Lapin and the son of the ex-head of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Artem Uss fell under the sanctions. Also on the list are “military correspondents” Yevgeny Poddubny, Semyon Pegov and Alexander Sladkov. The sanctions affected the head of the Voronezh region, Alexander Gusev, and the head of the Krasnodar region, Veniamin Kondratiev. Businessman Artem Chaika and his brother Igor Chaika, as well as political scientist Sergei Karaganov, were subject to restrictions.
