The founder of PMC Wagner, Yevgeny Prigozhin, was treated under a false name in the St. Petersburg clinic Sogaz, one of the owners of which is the daughter of Vladimir Putin, Maria Vorontsova. This was told by journalist Sergei Nemalevich in his Telegram channel.
The day before, Fontanka published photographs from Prigozhin's St. Petersburg office, where a search had taken place. In particular, the photographs showed three Russian passports with a photograph of the founder of PMC Wagner, but with different names and data. One of the passports was in the name of Dmitry Isaakovich Geiler, who was born in Leningrad in 1965 <Prigozhin is also a native of Leningrad, but born in 1961 – The Insider> .
As Nemalevich said, he remembered that he had seen this name in the list of VIP clients of the Sogaz clinic, which was at the disposal of the editors of Radio Liberty in 2021.
“The St. Petersburg nobility from Kovalchuk to Fursenko, Timchenko’s relatives, all sorts of local security officials and judokas, Matvienko, Klebanov, Sovershaeva, Dyukov and so on, were treated there, in a word, the clinic of the Ozero cooperative. Almost all the names from the list (some hidden by initials) were easy to identify, but we didn’t succeed with Dmitry Geiler.”
The search for a person with that name led only to a man who was looking for a job as a driver and did not fit the role of a patient in an elite clinic, in the database of which his name was marked “super VIP”. “We then decided that someone was being treated under the name of their carrier, but we could not establish who exactly. Now it’s clear that it was Prigozhin,” concluded Nemalevich. The journalist recalled that the wounded mercenaries of Wagner PMC are also being treated at the Sogaz clinic.
As Fontanka wrote the day before, in the office of PMC Wagner in the St. Petersburg hotel Trezzini, during a search, not only fake passports were seized, but also gold bars, cash for a total of 4 billion rubles and white powder. Later, information about the search was removed from the publication's website. The second passport was in the name of Oleg Yuryevich Semenov, born in 1962, and the third in the name of Vladimir Vasilyevich Bobrov, born in 1956.
