CTO regime lifted in Moscow, Moscow and Voronezh regions

In Moscow and the Moscow Region, the regime of the counter-terrorist operation (CTO), introduced on June 24 due to a military mutiny raised by the founder of Wagner PMC Yevgeny Prigozhin, was canceled. It is reported by TASS with reference to the FSB.

Also, the CTO regime has been canceled in the Voronezh region.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin clarified on his Telegram channel that all restrictions related to the introduction of the CTO regime have been lifted in the capital. Proms at schools, which were supposed to take place on June 24, but were canceled, will be held next Saturday, July 1.

Against the backdrop of fears that the Wagner PMC convoy will reach Moscow, the capital's mayor's office declared Monday, June 26, a day off. The mutiny was stopped on the evening of June 24, but they did not officially cancel the day off. The press service of Sobyanin stated that "the working hours for employees on a non-working Monday will be determined by the employers themselves, taking into account internal documents and labor agreements."

The Ministry of Digital Transformation advised to leave an additional day off for employees of IT companies, telecom operators and the media. “Saturday was a very emotional and stressful day,” the department’s Telegram channel noted .
