Nestka: Camps are being built in Belarus to accommodate Wagner PMC mercenaries

In Osipovichi, Mogilev region of Belarus, 200 km from the border with Ukraine, a camp is being built for Wagner PMC mercenaries, Nestka found out . According to the publication, there will be several such camps.

According to a source from Nestka, the area of the Osipovichi camp will be 24,000 square meters and will be designed for 8,000 beds. The interlocutor of the publication claims that the builders were given the task of completing the installation of the camp before lunch on June 27.

Relatives of the Wagnerites also confirmed to the publication that the mercenaries would be sent to Belarus. A relative of one of them said that the Wagner PMC units remaining in Rostov-on-Don would be sent to Belarus. Another interlocutor of the publication said that her husband, who was in Rostov on Saturday, told her that they would be sent to Belarus "most likely."

Three more participants in chats with relatives told the publication that they had received similar messages from relatives, but did not know for sure whether the units were heading towards Belarus. One of the interlocutors said that his relative is still "near Rostov".

The head of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, together with fighters from his detachments, captured part of the military facilities in Rostov-on-Don and Voronezh on the night of June 24. Tanks and armored personnel carriers stood on the streets of the city, explosions and shooting were heard on the videos published by eyewitnesses. In Voronezh, a shell flew into a residential yard, several cars were smashed, in the region, servicemen of the Russian army bombed an automobile bridge over the M-4 Don highway, two kilometers from the city of Boguchar.

A case was initiated against Prigozhin for calling for an armed rebellion, but he said that he was not going to turn himself in at the request of Putin, the FSB or "anyone else." Russian politicians and propagandists, commenting on the situation, quoted Putin and called for “rallying” around him, and bots called for the same. On the evening of June 24, videos began to appear with Wagner PMC fighters leaving Rostov.

The press service of Alexander Lukashenko announced on June 24 that the founder of Wagner PMC agreed to stop the convoy after negotiations with Alexander Lukashenko. Prigozhin himself did not speak about the negotiations. Lukashenko personally did not comment on the conversation with the founder of the PMC either.
