SBU detains suspect in adjustment of missile attack on Kramatorsk

The Security Service of Ukraine has detained a resident of Kramatorsk, Donetsk region, suspected of adjusting a missile attack on the city on June 27, which killed at least 10 people.

The detainee is an employee of a local gas transportation company. According to the SBU, he was recruited by Russian intelligence even before the war, and after the war they asked him to collect data on the deployment of the Ukrainian defense forces, as well as to transfer the locations of local critical infrastructure and facilities with a massive concentration of civilians.

On the evening of June 27, two Russian missiles hit the center of Kramatorsk. The building where the pizzeria filled with visitors was located came under fire. The village of Belenkoe near Kramatorsk also came under fire. According to the National Police of Ukraine, Kramatorsk was hit with Iskander missiles. The death toll from the missile attack has reached 10 people, the National Police said .

In particular, three minors died: a 17-year-old girl and two 14-year-old twins , Yulia and Anna Aksenchenko. Another 61 people were injured, including an eight-month-old baby.
