In Primorye, the court sentenced to 9 years a mobilized man who escaped from service three times

The Fokinsky garrison military court in the Primorsky Territory sentenced mobilized Andrey Divisenko to 9 years in a general regime colony. According to Kommersant, he was tried for leaving the military unit without permission.

Divisenko, who was mobilized in September last year, ran away from the service three times. The first time he left the unit was in November, but in January he turned himself in to the police. He was sent for examination to the hospital, from where he escaped on January 20. On February 4, he was found at home and returned to the unit, but on February 16 he left again. A month later, he was again detained in his apartment, after which a criminal case was initiated.

During the trial, Divisenko said that he ran away from the service to look after his sick wife, who had surgery last April. The court, however, considered that the woman had already grown strong enough, and in addition, her husband's parents, who lived with her in the same apartment, could help her.
