Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki called on NATO to deploy nuclear weapons in his country

Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki spoke after the EU summit in favor of deploying NATO nuclear weapons on the territory of his country, Polsatnews.pl reports .

According to him, this is necessary due to Russia's deployment of tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus. Morawiecki said that Poland is asking NATO to take part in the Nuclear Sharing program and declared his country's readiness to "act quickly in this regard." The final decision on this issue, however, depends on "partners from the US and NATO."

Nuclear Sharing is a procedure for transferring nuclear warheads to NATO member states that do not have their own nuclear weapons.

Earlier, Alexander Lukashenko said that a significant part of the Russian nuclear weapons (NW), which were supposed to be moved to Belarus, is already on the territory of the country. At the same time, he refuted some statements by “Poles and others” that the Wagner PMC “will guard nuclear weapons and so on,” and also said that the safety of nuclear weapons is primarily his “personal responsibility.”

Lukashenka invited PMC Wagner and the head of this group, Yevgeny Prigozhin, to Belarus in order, as the Wall Street Journal wrote , to strengthen their positions in front of the leadership of the Russian Federation and prevent, in which case, the complete capture of Belarus by Russia.
