The Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives allocated 205 million rubles for concerts in support of the war

The Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives (PFCI) this year has allocated two grants totaling 205 million rubles for "patriotic" musical tours in support of the war. The Agency writes about it.

A grant in the amount of 153.2 million rubles will be received by the organizers of the festival “Russian Summer. ZaRussia”, the program of which is dedicated to “SVO”. As part of the festival, concerts are planned in 26 cities of Russia, as well as "new regions". Organizer – "Expert Institute for Social Research". According to media reports , this structure, created in 2017, works for the presidential administration.

Another 51.7 million rubles have been allocated for the "digital patriotic festival Hero Motherland", which will be held in seven cities of Russia and five occupied Ukrainian cities, including Donetsk and Lugansk. Among the musicians who agreed to perform are Shaman, Denis Maidanov, Alexander Rosenbaum, Irina Dubtsova, Stas Kostyushkin. The organizer of the festival is the Props production center.

On June 30, the PFCI announced the summing up of the results of the second grant competition. More than a thousand projects received grants totaling 4.3 billion rubles. According to the fund's general director Roman Karmanov, "winning projects represent 86 regions of the country, including new entities."

Festival “Russian Summer. ZaRussia” was already held in September last year. Then the PFKI allocated 109.5 million rubles for its organization.
