The Pervorechensky District Court of Vladivostok sent activist and musician Sergei Tokhteev to a psychiatric examination in a hospital for 30 days. This is reported by "Taiga" with reference to his friend.
Tokhteev will be in the Regional Clinical Psychiatric Hospital No. 1. An investigator filed a corresponding petition with the court, on June 28 the court ruled to satisfy the petition and send the activist to the clinic.
Five criminal cases were opened against Tokhteev for “discrediting the army”. In 2022, he was fined under an administrative article on “discrediting the army” for posts critical of the war. In February 2023, the police broke into the man's house.
“They used physical force, a stun gun, they took away all the equipment, a phone, a computer, a laptop, since then he lost access to his page [on VKontakte] because it was tied to the SIM card that was seized,” he quoted Tokhteev's acquaintance a message from his girlfriend.
