Pre-trial detention center “Lefortovo” accepted a postcard sent to the name of Surovikin S. V., said the head of “Rus sitting”

In the Lefortovo pre-trial detention center they accepted a postcard, which was sent to Surovikin S.V. with the general's date of birth. This was announced by the head of the Russian fund "Seated Russia" Olga Romanova. According to her, her volunteer sent the postcard.

“Our volunteer wrote a postcard to a man named Surovikin S.V., indicated the general’s year of birth and sent the postcard to the Lefortovo pre-trial detention center. Today came the answer that the postcard was taken away. By the way, the name was distorted at the post office, our volunteer did everything right. Everything on the card was correct. Full name + year. From Lefortovo, if there is no addressee, then they send it back like “there is no such”. Once again: this is not proof at all that Surovikin was in Lefortovo this morning. This is proof that a postcard in his name was taken from there.”

The volunteer confirmed Romanova's information to The Insider, also noting that the letter could, for example, be wrapped up at the censorship check stage. According to her, it is not known whether the surname was changed intentionally by postal workers. “There, the girl just silently drove the data into the computer,” the interlocutor of The Insider explained.

On June 28, information appeared in the media that Surovikin was detained and placed in a pre-trial detention center after the rebellion of the PMC Wagner. Officially, the Ministry of Defense did not talk about this. For the first time, a message about the possible arrest of Surovikin appeared on the Telegram channel of blogger-propagandist Vladimir Romanov. According to him, Surovikin was arrested on June 25, the day after the Wagner PMC mutiny. Romanov claims that Surovikin is in the Lefortovo pre-trial detention center, where he got this information is unknown. Later, Surovikin's daughter said that no one had arrested him and that everything was fine with him.
