The mother of the girl, who showed a signal for help on the air, said she would sue the journalists. According to her, it was they who said to show the gesture

Kristina Borzhova, the mother of an eight-year-old girl Veronika, who showed a gesture in the program of the First Channel, which is considered an international request for help to victims of domestic violence, intends to sue journalists. According to Borzhova, it was they who asked the girl to show this gesture. She told about this to the publication “Day in Vladimir”.

“I don’t trust anyone anymore! I myself will go to law enforcement agencies and achieve justice, and the correspondents, together with the hosts of Channel One, will be held accountable before the law for deciding to cash in on us with the children, specifically asking my daughter to show this gesture if she starts to stutter in order to reshoot,” — said Christina Borzhova.

Veronika Borzhova showed a gesture of asking for salvation in the release of the program "Male / Female" called "Sutyazhniki". It is dedicated to the life of the Borzhov family, where Kristina and her ex-husband Karen are suing for custody of their youngest daughter Milana. The eldest daughter Veronica, during the filming of the plot, gave the same international signal: she bent her thumb, and then wrapped her other fingers around it. On camera, the girl said that she “lives very friendly with her mother and sister.”

Later, the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, instructed to check the family. Ombudsman for children's rights in Moscow Olga Yaroslavskaya, commenting on the plot, accused the film crew of leaving the child in danger.

The father of the youngest daughter and stepfather of the girl who signaled for help told reporters that Kristina Borzhova beats her children and turns them against both fathers. He said that for two years now he has been fighting with his ex-wife for the right of custody of his youngest daughter. In his opinion, on the air, the eldest girl says that she loves her mother because she “lives in fear.” He also gave reporters a video in which Borzhova strongly pushes the girl.
