The Prague-based son-in-law of the head of a Russian corporation producing rockets attacked a Viasna activist

The son-in-law of the head of the Russian defense holding Tactical Missiles Corporation Boris Obnosov, Rostislav Zorikov, beat an activist of the Vesna movement. This was announced by the head of FBK Maria Pevchikh. The incident took place in Prague. The activist went out with a picket to the house, which belongs to Zorikov.

According to Pevchikh, FBK provided the Czech authorities with irrefutable evidence of Zorikov's involvement in the production of Russian missiles and information about his Czech assets.

“I talked for hours with the Czech Foreign Ministry and the Czech police about this case. <…> What did I hear? Nothing. No official response and nothing but “let’s see what we can do” in private conversations.”

As Pevchikh writes, while ordinary Russians are banned from entering the Czech Republic even with a Schengen visa, Zorikov lives freely in Prague, “and lives like a mafioso. He drives around in luxury cars that do not match his official income and beats up people who dare to protest against corruption and injustice.”

In May, FBK published the results of an investigation into the property of Rostislav Zorikov and his wife Olga. The Zorikovs own a four-story house, a 140-meter penthouse and other real estate in Prague. Also, Zorikov, with an official income of 37 thousand rubles a month, owns a collection of luxury cars.
