Voice of America asked visitors to the Russian Cultural Center in Washington how they feel about the Russian invasion of Ukraine. One of the respondents replied that she "doesn't give a damn", and then attacked the correspondent with her fists. The rest said they did not want to answer this question or tried to evade the answer.
All respondents came to the center for a concert dedicated to the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity. The event coincided with 500 days of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
Only one of the respondents answered that he would like it to be over as soon as possible. “It's not for me to judge one way or another,” said another visitor to the center. Another woman replied that she supported love and family.
