Stanislav Rzhitsky, deputy head of the city department for mobilization work, was shot dead in Krasnodar, reports Shot. This information is confirmed by TASS and RBC .

According to Shot, 42-year-old Rzhitsky went for a run in the morning, he was guarded near the Olimp sports complex by an unknown person who shot him four times in the back and chest, after which he fled the scene. Rzhitsky died on the spot. A criminal case has been initiated under the article "Murder", the attacker is being sought.

Baza writes that, according to preliminary data, the killer had been following Rzhitsky for a long time, knew his routes, and also specially chose a place that would not be covered by surveillance cameras.

Stanislav Rzhitsky was a captain of the 2nd rank and commander of the Krasnodar submarine , equipped with Caliber cruise missiles. Ukrainian media accused Rzhitsky of shelling Vinnitsa with Kalibr missiles from this ship on July 14, 2022. As a result of this shelling, 27 people were killed.

Rzhitsky is also included in the base of the Ukrainian "Peacemaker" as the commander of the Alrosa submarine, which is part of the Black Sea Fleet.
