The situation at the front
The WarGonzo project of "military officer" Semyon Pegov writes about the "small advance" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to Rabotino in the Zaporozhye direction . In the Bakhmut area, Ukrainian troops took up new positions northwest of Kleshcheevka and wedged into the Russian defenses to a depth of 1.5 km north of Soledar from the side of Razdolovka . Ukrainian OSINT-project «KiberBoroshno | CyberBoroshno notes that the Russian video shows the use of FPV drones on Bradley vehicles close to the northern outskirts of Rabotino . Based on this and other cases of fixing Ukrainian equipment in this area, the authors of the project conclude that this zone is already under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Anna Malyar writes that the Ukrainian military keeps under tight fire control the entrances and exits, as well as enemy movements in Bakhmut, occupying the dominant heights near the city.
In turn, the commander of the ground forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky, posted on his Telegram channel a video of the successful work of the 225th separate assault battalion in the area of the Berkhovsky reservoir .
In another video, you can see several prisoners from the Russian 83rd Airborne Assault Brigade taken in the Bakhmut direction. Most of them are mobilized. Previously, relatives of those mobilized from this brigade sent letters to official authorities, where they complained that up to a third of the soldiers died when leaving the encirclement near Bakhmut .
Ukrainian military observer Konstantin Mashovets believes that the situation around Bakhmut is not at all so favorable for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to him, the situation remains difficult and is acquiring trends in favor of the RF Armed Forces. Mashovets notes that the Russian military is advancing on three sectors of the front, with two having success. As for Bakhmut, the “fall” of Kleshcheevka promised in the near future did not happen, and in the area of \u200b\u200bthe Berkhovsky reservoir, the offensive bogged down. Mutual shelling and sabotage

It is noteworthy that propaganda posters appear on the bodies of kamikaze drones, and the image of the President of Ukraine on one of them looks rather anti-Semitic.
Previously, Russian military personnel practiced wit by leaving various inscriptions on the UAV hulls. The death toll from the strike on Orekhov in the Zaporozhye region has risen to seven people – the bodies of three more local residents were raised from the rubble. Also reported about 11 wounded. The attack was carried out using a guided aerial bomb with a UMPC unit.
Judging by local publics , at 3:30 am the occupied city of Berdyansk was struck, the work of Russian air defense was noted. Later, an adviser to the mayor of Mariupol, Petr Andryushchenko, said that one of the strikes had hit the Duna Hotel, where the command post of the Russian 58th Army was allegedly located. As a result, Lieutenant General, Deputy Commander of the Southern Military District Oleg Tsokov died. By the evening of July 11, Russian sources began to confirm Tsokov's death ( 1 , 2 , 3 ). The special operations forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine publish a video in which you can see how nine pieces of Russian military equipment are hit at different times. These are two 2S5 "Hyacinth", two 2S7 "Pion", a radio interference station R-325U, an electronic warfare station "Leer", two P-18 "Malachite" complexes and a "Casta-2E2" complex. Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu has traditionally spoken about the incredible losses of the enemy. According to him, since June 4, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have lost 26,000 personnel and 3,000 weapons, including 1,244 tanks and other armored vehicles (including 17 Leopard tanks), 403 guns, as well as 21 aircraft and five helicopters. Shoigu also said that Putin twice a day listens in detail to commanders' reports on the situation on the front line. It can be assumed that such fantastic reports seriously affect the already not the most unambiguous psycho-emotional state of the Russian president (and, apart from jokes, strengthen his confidence that the goals of the "SVO" will be achieved by military means).
Armaments and military equipment
The Lithuanian capital Vilnius is hosting a NATO summit, at which, among other things, new military assistance packages for the Armed Forces of Ukraine are announced.
French President Emmanuel Macron announced the transfer of long-range missiles to Ukraine. Most likely, this is SCALP EG, they are also Storm Shadow, which were previously transferred to Ukraine by the UK. According to Reuters sources, we are talking about 50 missiles of this type, and some of them have already been delivered.
Germany announced a new €700 million military aid package that will include 25 Leopard 1A5 tanks, 40 Marder 1A3 infantry fighting vehicles, five Bergepanzer 2 armored recovery vehicles, two Patriot anti-aircraft missile launchers, 20,000 rounds of 155 caliber artillery rounds mm, 5 thousand smoke shells, as well as reconnaissance drones and UAV countermeasure systems.
Norway will increase the amount of military assistance to Ukraine from $240 million to $930 million as part of a comprehensive program worth more than $7 billion, which will last for five years. It should be noted that previous Norwegian deliveries are used in the current offensive: for example, "commander" Romanov showed the body of a Norwegian missile for the M270 multiple launch rocket system, designed for remote laying of anti-tank mines, which he found in the Zaporozhye direction .
The Canadian company Roshel delivered 550 protected armored vehicles to the Ukrainian side. It is expected that by the end of the year the number of transferred vehicles will exceed 1000 units.
Australia is sending an E-7A Wedgetail AWACS aircraft to the Ukrainian theater of operations. Its main task will be to monitor alleged threats to the logistics hubs through which weapons flow from Europe to Ukraine.
Sergei Shoigu, in addition to talking about the huge losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, also commented on the provision of cluster munitions to Ukraine. This, he said, "will drag out the conflict", and Russia, in turn, will respond with "cluster munitions for all occasions." It is worth noting that at the beginning of the war, Russia did not hesitate to use this type of weapon, but for some reason practically stopped it – the last declared use dates back to January of this year, when the position of the Ukrainian S-300 complex was hit by an Iskander missile with a cluster warhead. We can talk about serious stocks of cluster munitions only in the Russian Aerospace Forces (this is reported , for example, by the profile Telegram channel Fighterbomber). True, they are free-falling air bombs, which, although they are used , are apparently quite rare due to the opposition of Ukrainian air defense systems.
Shoigu also reported on the growth in the production of ammunition. Commentators close to one of the separatist field commanders in the Donbass in 2014, and now the well-known Z-figure Igor Girkin (aka Strelkov / Runov), based on the figures announced by Shoigu, commentators calculated that the total release of shells per year is expected at the level of 6 million units. Girkin himself complained that this was only 40-45% of the needs of the front. In addition, the specified figure does not correspond to Putin's March statement, when he promised to produce three times more than a million ammunition, which the West was going to supply to Ukraine in a year – that is, only three million.
The Russian Kurganmashzavod delivered ahead of schedule another batch of BMP-3s and upgraded BMP-2Ms with the Berezhok combat module. The company is proud that in six months it shipped 95% of the products from the plan for 2022, which means that it will be overfulfilled, as in the good old Soviet times.
