The High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine (VAKS) satisfied the claim of the Ministry of Justice for the confiscation of apartments in the center of Kyiv, which belong to the Russian blogger and designer Artemy Lebedev. This was stated by the director of the sanctions policy department of the Ministry of Justice Inna Bogatykh.
“Today, the VAKS satisfied the claim of the Ministry to recover the assets of the Russian blogger and propagandist Artemy Lebedev – two apartments in the center of Kyiv were credited to state revenues (138 sq.m and 193 sq.m)! There will not be many words – thank you very much for the work of the team of the sanctions policy department (proud of you!) To protect each asset declared in the lawsuit, to turn the property of Russian supporters in favor of the state of Ukraine! Thanks to all those involved (agencies, NGOs, journalists) for their support, information and joint struggle!” her message says.
Earlier, the Security Service of Ukraine accused Lebedev of justifying the war and denying Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine. According to the SBU, Lebedev illegally entered the territory of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, where he filmed a “custom report for the Kremlin media resources” on the seizure of the power facility, and then distributed the material to his audience on social networks.
In July last year, Lebedev actually went to the occupied territory of Ukraine. He published a photo from the Donbass, from the roof of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. Lebedev called visiting the occupied places "the little joys of a full life."
At the end of February of this year, Lebedev's YouTube channel was blocked . On his channel, Lebedev also criticized Alexei Navalny. For example, Lebedev argued that the state did not have the task of poisoning a politician, on the contrary, they were watching him so that nothing happened, "you never know what kind of provocation." According to him, the FSB officers were “preparing to be poisoned,” so Navalny was monitored by chemists in order to carry out some “events” if something happened.
